I agree--call Saab USA and even though the lemon law is good for two years, the car is under warranty--by Saab,
Call Saab USA to complain, get a file number, have the factory rep/tech come out to look at the car--and evaluate what needs to be done.
Since they can't seem to precisely identify the issue, then maybe a complete approach should be in order. You should probably try to get Saab USA to agree to replacing all the convertible parts, icluding the motors, the convertible top itself, the frame, all the switches, etc, that should get at what might be the issue-- It is probably some "sporadically recurring issue with a switch or something like that" that they may not be able to identify the cause properly.
Tell them you have had enough of this being stranded, and incurring time and expenses, because they can't seem to get it right.
This should be unacceptable to you.
