Who's the local service rep?..... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: Press the issue - it's still not right., Ken Schoenberg, Mon, 12 Jul 2004 08:42:17 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Ask the dealer for the name and number of the local field service rep. He should be actively engaged in the repair and diagnosis and he should have your name and number to inform you of diagnosis and fixes. You guys should be buddies by now.
You should have a case number with Saab Customer Service. I know you're probably busy with a life beyond your Saab, but I think a little more diligence with customer service and the local field service rep, especially the local service rep, might seem like a bargain compared with the $20-35k you'll spend on one of the replacement cars you mentioned. Don't wait for a call back, call them, press a little more. You seem too nice, not that you have to be mean, just more persistent.
BTW those are all decent cars. The Camry doesn't have an automatic tonneau, the BMWs a little tight in the back seat, the Audi is sharp.
Roadside assistance is a contract with a towing company regardless of the brand, not really Saabs fault, could happen with any manufacturer. The towing business is full of irate customers.
