Hi - Brand new to the board.
I am a teenager with limited (but expanding) knowledge of the workings of my Saab. To be considered for a weekend job (security) I need strobe lights for my '99 Saab 9-3. A roof mounted light will do, but if I can do amber colored, concealed strobes behind the front and rear turn signals myself, I would like to.
Is it reasonable for someone who doesnt know a lot more (as of yet) than how to change the headlights and BASIC wiring to do this? What are the basics involved? Drilling holes in the lenses and running wires?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Also, a vertical (and sometimes horiztontal) line appears on the screen of my SID, cutting through bits and pieces of the information displayed there. After a short ride the line (or lines) disappear - should I be worried that this could lead to more serious problems or is the screen just beginning to fail?
Thank you very much for helping out the new guy.
