I retorqued the bolts on my 2001 9-3 at 60,000 miles

The car has a June 2001 production date. I didn't notice that any of the bolts were particularly loose. I took the time to put a punch mark on each of the bolt heads before I loosened them. When I was done with the retorque the punch marks showed that they were all about 45 degrees tighter than they were when I started. I took one bolt all the way out to look at it and noticed that the threads were covered with oil. I think this may account for all of the bolts being about 45 degrees tighter when I was done, since the lubricated threads will rotate further when the initial 40 ft lbs of torque are applied.
To summarize, I think the retorque may have been beneficial since all of the bolts are now a little tighter, but none of them showed the finger tight syndrome that has been noted on the earlier model year cars.
