A lot of issues surface between 80 and 100k, but a motor mount seems unusual.
It does not seem likely that you are being taken advantage of. More like the people doing the work don't know either, and are throwing parts at the car (happened to me a couple times). The same thing that damaged an axle could have damaged other parts of the suspension. Running on a bent axle can lead to other problems.
the 90-100k service is expensive. I did about half of it myself just to save money, and the cost is still close to $1000 in parts and labor.
I suspect the fact that you only feel it during acceleration is a hint to the real problem.
I have had bent rims on my car, leading to funny tire wear, tried to rebalance tires etc, with no luck... If it were up to me, I would rotate the rims and tires front to back first and see if anything changes. Problems with new tires are not as rare as people think. I once had one out of four expensive tires go bad before it had 2000 miles on it - the store I bought them at took one look and replaced it under warranty.
