I'd take it to a reputable dealer to have then check it out for sure. You dont want your engine to fall apart like mine did once the light came on. For me i was to late and ended up having to replace the turbo and motor because they were starved of oil. It should only take an hour or so for them to open it up to see if there is any damage. At the very least i'd have them install a brand new head gasket job and coolent flush/refill.
