Thank you everyone for your input. My previous track experience has been in the original Mitsu Rallye car, the Galant VR4. AWD, brakes from the 3000GT, turbo with MBC for 17.5 psi (around 214+ at the wheels)and 4WS (active, in-phase, max of 1.5 degrees). HellaFUN!!! Had to sell to pay for house. So I am NASA'd and SCCA'd (road course, autocross, rallycross too) but new to the performance of the Viggen. And after a few off the track experiences caused by overcooked brakes, which resulted in overcooked turn-in, I have always started with the brakes. This goes back to my '69 and '73 MG's, '69 Duetto Spyder, Volvo 162, as well as my two motorcycles which have seen a few track days as well.
So not wanting to re-invent the wheel (pardon the punnage), I needed some steerage in the right direction. Thanks again!!
Racing doesn't KILL. STUPIDITY DOES!! Take it to the track.
