I have a 99 9-3 with 115K Km and it is sstarting howing signs of age. The latest thing to break is the sunroof. I opened it yesterday afternoon and ran some errands always leaving it open when turning off and locking the car. I closed it part way at one point and then tried to re-open it and it failed. I am able to close a fully open sunroof and open just the back part, but am now unable to open it fully or close the partial open roof. I was able to manually close it last night, but now I can't open it fully. So basically, I can push the button forward and it works, but when I push it backwards, it doesn't

Any ideas before I bring it in? I wouldn't want the dealership to attempt to shaft me again...
