First things first:
For a Saab turbo, you're safest with fully synthetic oil. And, in my opinion, the two best oils are Mobil 1 & Amsoil. You'll get better protection over longer oil change intervals than with anything else.
As for weights:
The best wear reports I've seen come zeke over on the 9000 BB. He runs M1 15W-50 in the North East, all the way down to 20°F. (Lower than that, & he drives his pickup.) If the M1 5W-40 I'm running now doesn't show better wear reports than the 0W-40 I ran last time (9k mi, 14 mos, 0°F-100°F), then I'll probably switch to a 5W-40/15W-50 mix.
