Not as good as I'd like

And certainly not as good as zeke's M1 15W-50 turbo report. zeke's report is linked in my previous post, & my report is linked here. The 0W-40 oil itself looks like it's still in pretty good condition at this length of use, but I think I'll stick with 10,000 mile intervals on my turbo for now. However, to be fair, I really did have a lot of stuff going on during that entire interval. And since it was my first-ever run of Mobil 1 (& analysis reports), I don't have any comparison data for my specific car.
Yes, you can mix viscosities w/o problems with all current oils. Since the actual viscosity result is slightly lower than the arithmetic average of the two numbers, I'd expect something like a 7W or 8W on the low end & 42 or 43 when it's hot. I'm really not concerned about the hot end being too thick, since the turbo's best protection comes from maintaining a film of oil at temps over 400°F & impeller speeds of 100,000+ rpms. My bigger concern is the cold flow in the winter. When it gets down to 0°F, I don't want to worry that my wife & kids are stuck with a car that won't turn over.
