So now they have retrofitted the style so that the system they used in 90-92 wasn't so bad after all when they had a plastic brace that held the two lines in place and the brace was screwed to the fuel pump body with a T20 screw.
It must be though that they have had a bad batch of fuel pumps in late 90s and early 2000s or they employed a gorilla on the assembly line that broke the catch when installing the tank unit?
I have never heard of those breaking until suddenly now with the 99/2003 cars
