Saab does sell a kit that includes the amp and speakers. Last check found the price to be around $400.00 to $450.00. You will also need an $80.00
cable to run from the head unit to the amp. If you want a better sound AND
the convenience of plug and play this is the way to go. BUT, the amp is a subwoofer amp and the speakers are subwoofer/midbass speakers. So, don't
seek to get anything more than more bottom end out of this operation.
Many 9-3S owners (including myself) have opted to mount a full range, 4-channel amp combined with upgrade 6"x9" speakers in the rear and 6.5" component speakers in the front. Most put the woofers in the doors and the tweeters in place of the 3.5" two-ways in the dash. This takes a bit of doing and if you want to DIY will take a great deal of patience and time, but the end result will be vastly superior to the stock system AND for likely less money. You will also need to purchase the $80.00 Saab cable or equivelant and modify it to 4-channel RCA output.
Do a search for "audio upgrade" here and this should get you headed in the right direction.
Good Luck
