Tried the loosening the nuts and driving. It gave a bit more play, but no luck. I did not want to loosen the nuts too much for fear of damaging the brakes. I did not want to try the obvious (and so tempting) with the pry as I did not want to put a nick or scratch in the alloy which could lead to a stress riser and eventual crack. For the same reason pounding left images of damaging the bearings or races with resulting $$$.
If I remember, my last wheels were anodized, not painted like the Viggen and that may have been why they never stuck.
Very irritating. As the car has a fuel system recall, I wil have the daler rotate the tires. Wht the anti-seize was not put on before I bought it is curious as the rotors and pads were brand new replaed for the CPO.
