The MP bar is 22.35mm or 7/8". I designed the sway bar and can tell the stock bar is no where close to being a 16mm bar. The oem bar is flat in the corners where it really allows for flex and is around 8mm. The real advantage of upgrading this part is that the bar has no flat spots. If you look at this upgrade in this respect your upgrading close to three times the size of the oem bar.
I also recommend adding on the front sub-frame brace(2 point) to give the car a more balanced feel. Just upgrading the rear sway bar is going to allow for the front of the car to flex more and cause a understeer feeling. Adding the sub-frame is going to give the car a more balanced feel.
