Well I first bought a Abbott racing rear sway bar which is basically the same size as the oem but it does not have any flat spots in the bends. This sway bar really did not do that much for me in the sense of increasing the handling of the car. I then test drove one of my friends SAS rear sway bars and really like the improvement but thought it had an oversteer feeling. I then made a 7/8 sway bar because my steel supplier was out of 1" bar when I picked up the supplies. The car still had a slight oversteer feeling so I then added on the sub-frame brace which balanced out the car. I really enjoyed the improved handling, as do almost all who do this upgrade. It's really just did trail and error on all products until you feel it was done right. We now make a 1" rear sway bar, but I still really like the 7/8" bar with the sub-frame brace.
