A/C Thermal Overload switch removal... (long)

Well, I did search this one out a little, but, didn't really find anything posted yet. So, if this question has been asked already, please forgive the redundency.
My thermal overload switch seems to have failed. My AC compressor doesn't run at all. Upon bypassing the t/o switch with a momentary switch, I was able to get the compressor to run and everything seemed to be working well. So, I've ordered another switch from thesaabsite.com. However, I'm having one HECK of a time getting the old switch removed. Between a coolant line about 4" above it, the serpentine belt to the left, the turbo to the right, AC lines very close on either side, and the radiator in very close proximity, how am I supposed to get a wrench on it?? Also, I've clipped the leads off the old, bad one to remove it with a regular socket. This, of course, isn't an option with he new one, so, what kind of wrench can I use to put the new one on? Also, how tight does it need to be? I have a set of 'bent' wrenches for really tight spots, but, the 19mm one is too long - it hits the radiator. I thought about just lumping it and taking off the coolant line and taking the opportunity to flush the coolant, but, I'd really rather not, of course. I also looked for a slotted socket, like those used for oxygen sensors, but, I could only find a 22mm. Any ideas there?
Thanks a ton folks. It sure is getting hot around here and I'd love some AC.
