WIS:
-drain coolant
-remove lower rad hose
-remove BPV if needed
-get a 19mm box wrench and cut off to a 120mm length max
-remove switch
The switch does not seal to any gas pressure. So when intalling, all you need to do is establish a thermal contact. So you do not have to tight too much. A small amount of loctite blue might help retain. WIS menstions using a plastic sleeve from the old sensor's wires with the new as this part is not supplied with the new.
If the BPV is in the way, perhaps it can be detached and moved over with all of the hoses intact.
Sounds like it is time for a coolant flush? Find my cooling system posts from years ago. Search drs<underscore>install. There are hints on methods for zero spill cooling system drain etc.
If you think that you might want to install a Viggen IC some day, then install the new style lower rad hose. That would be needed.
