Often the seals for the tail light allow water to creep through. A dab of silicone around the gaskets will help. You also have an air flap that is under the car that allows fresh air into the trunk to help prevent mold/dampness/ect. It is located on the back right of the car, underneath the carpet and near the right quarter panel. If that flap is off or broken you might be getting splash up from the roads into your car on wet days.
