Well I am a convertible owner ('03 SE) but not a Saab Tech. I do however know more about glass that I really want to.
First I would be interested in knowing what happened to the first window, did it break in the same way or was there something else involved like a rock?
Second, glass will often give up the ghost due to an edge flaw or something like that but it is virtually impossible that 3 successive windows to all have a flaw in the same area. So I must conclude that the glass is being stressed beyond what I can take, which for annealed glass like that used for the windshield isn't very much (the other glass in the car which is thermally tempered can take a lot more stress).
The stress could be installation stress (the glass is being forced over a bump or down into a depression), or post installation stress which would be more complicated. The latter would indicate that the upper passenger side of your windshield is flexing much more than it should. If this is the case, I would suspect that whatever method Saab has used to attach the "A" pillar to the cross beam above the window (bolts or welds) has given up the ghost. If I could see all the glass I could give you a better explanation (it is possible to tell where a crack started and why) but I suspect this is impossible.
Good luck
Brooks
