Hello, my moms 1999 9-3 the gas gauge and the DTE function have not worked since she bought the car, she bought it used and has had it for a few months now. but until a couple days ago the DTE has always read 0, and the gas gauge has never moved. but within the last couple days the gas gauge has started to go up a little (up as in moved but never get high enough for the fuel light to go off) and the DTE has read 3, 6, 15, 17, so i was wondering if anyone knew where to check for say a bad ground wire for the sending unit or anything else that i should check to see if its teh problem before Dealing with the dealer????
