Enzo--
These instructions are very, very good! Thank you for taking the time to write in what can not be the easiest language for you.
May I ask, how long did the whole procedure take you, from start to finish?
For the record, I called Boston Compressor this morning, and apparently they were bought out at some point by another company, Hancock Industries. The Boston Compressor website, though still live, is no longer of any use; you get Hancock, then they'll give you another number (800-289-8282) to call for parts inquiries. The guys you get on the parts phone don't seem to have immediate access to the older Boston parts numbering system or cross-references either. To confuse things further, they also don't have listings beyond 1995 at the moment, for some reason. I found the right part number for my '97 900 (since it uses the same compressor etc. as the '94 and '95 models)-- but Saab switched compressor makers in '98 or '99 (from Seiko-Seiki to Sanden) so folks with later models might have some trouble.
Regards,
T
