For their bicycle fittings. The racks themselves are pretty much the same, except Thule uses square bars and Yakima round ones. Since you'll be transporting bikes, IMO the attachments are more important than the racks.
Don't forget locks for each tower and each bike attachment, and shoot some oil in the lock cores once in a while -- they tend to freeze. Also, you will be surprised at how expensive they are; a whole system (towers, bars, attachments, locks) will run at least $300-400...
