Well, other than using a golf cart battery to test-start your car, any 'common' car battery will be fine for this test.
Battery specs, like Cold Cranking Amps (CCA), are different between batteries - but the Saab battery is pretty much your average car battery. They are all 12Volt batteries - except some strange 6V car batteries used on really old vintage cars (pre 1965, etc...)
Of course, there are issues like the actual dimensions of the battery that make some preferable over others....but like I said, this is just a quick 10 minute test. if the car starts up, shut it off, drive to Wally World, or your favorite generic car supply shop, and they'll sell you the 'correct' fitting battery. Personally, I prefer gel-cell batteries. They are more expensive than the traditional wet-cell batteries, but they can take more abuse and generally last longer.
