I have had my 96 900 convertible for a very short time but when i bought it i was pleasantly surprised to find that my 3 year olds seat fit perfectly in the back, not only does it tuck in very nicely under the prominent headrest but even though she is very tall for her age her head is below the body line of the car, making the only potential risk in an accident (above that of a coupe) foreign object intrusion. a risk with any cabriolet. ive found that the steep rear seat angle isnt a problem, it is actually closer to the recommended angle (car seat manufacturer) than my minivan. i wouldnt recommend any rear facing seat in any cabriolet. and with toddlers and preschoolers remember....sunscreen, hat, sunglasses....and hat and sunglasses are mighty cute on little kids anyways.
