I had NO issues, superb stopping power, and the rotors were perfect after 25k miles and the pads were only about 60% worn. VERY little dust and wear. I don't know why your rotors would be eaten up so early. The kevlar compound used in Greenstuffs is higher friction, but, lower in abrasion. EBCs eating rotors sounds REALLY weird to me. I don't think that EBC makes their rotors out of any exotic or proprietary material that's much different than what you'd get from any other high-quality rotor. The main difference between EBCs and others is the dimple and slot pattern. They dimple their rotors instead of drilling them to avoid the cracking issues that some cross-drilled rotors have. My Brembos, though, had no problems with cracking. They were a little noisier than non-drilled, but, that's normal, from what I understand.

And if the steering wheel is "jumping out of your hands" umm... DANG!! I think you may have other issues there other than just pads. Kind of spooky.

What kind of pads and brake fluid are you running now? Have you had the brake servo and master cylindar looked at to make sure that they're working properly? If the steering wheel is "jumping out of your hands," do you mean that it's jerking to one side when you brake? If this is the case, you may have a caliper that's sticking. If a caliper is sticking, the pad on that side will heat up and will 'grab' more quickly. Next time you park from going out for a drive, feel the front wheels. If one is significantly hotter than the other, you may have a problem with that caliper.

FWIW... these are just a couple of ideas... Best of luck.
