Did you replace the pads yourself?
I've sometimes had to file a little bit on the steel backing plate of new pads, so they don't get wedged tight into the caliper bracket. Of course, that also goes for rust & crud built up in that caliper bracket. The pads must be able to release from pressing against the rotor.
There's no special adjustment screw holding them apart. But maybe it's possible to put the anti-rattle spring back the wrong way, which also makes the brakes drag?
