99 9-3 Brake Problem

Could you please advise me on a recent issue that developed on my 99 9-3. The driver side, front wheel mounting plate needed to be replaced. After removing and reinstalling the new plate, I depressed the piston on the brake caliber to reinstall onto the rotor. Now the car has a pulsating petal and a bellow sound at the very end when coming to a complete stop. I bled the front calibers and the problem is still there. What did I do wrong? Or, could it just be a coincidence?
Please help...
Thank you,
Leo Jenkins
