Rear brake caliper question

Hi all:
I have a '99 9-3 base coupe and while fixing my parking brake (as per Dean's instructions), I noticed that my rear rotors are toast (deeply pitted and spalled, especially right one). It also looks like the right rear caliper isn't even grabbing anymore, although the pads on this side seem to have a fair amount of material and they are close enough to the rotor to rub slightly when spinning. Is there something I can do with the calipers short of replacing them? Pads and rotors (Monroe) are 25% off this week at Canadian tire but replacing them would be useless if the caliper is seized. If I have to replace the calipers, sould someone please describe in detail the bleeding process (e.g. what to look for, etc.)Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
