I'd say that the engine probably did 1000 miles with the PVC hoses switched. I drove to Maine immediately after the repair (I got the car a week late and had promised my cousin a ride home to Maine from Logan, and the car was in the middle of CT) On the way there, I got a check engine light (due to cat dying, I later found out) I pulled the ecu fuse and the light stayed off for almost the rest of the trip, so I figured I was OK getting there and back.

I brought it in to a SAAB dealer and they discovered the incorrect hookups. Then there was some argument about who the original shop would allow to fix the car, as I didnt want to drop it off 1.5 hours from home. So I had to drive it an hour away for the repair.

This is so frustrating. I never overrevved my car.
