An alternative...
Last time I did this, I reverse-bled the clutch. I pushed brake fluid INTO the clutch bleeder screw. That worked good, but you want to do this before the brakes since it pushes old fluid into the reservoir.
A suggestion...
With your procedure, step 6 is where you let up the clutch pedal. Don't let it snap suddenly up, lift it more slowly. Based on my Honda experience (I better get my flame suit), if you let the pedal snap quickly up, there's more chance of getting air into the clutch master thru the piston-shaft seal.
