87 all the way

I have used 87 in my 9-5 Linear since the day we bought it new, 3+ years and 90,000 miles ago. No problems; no regrets.
When I added the CPO 9-3 HOT a few months back, I tried it with both 87 and 93. The 93 seemed to perform slightly better, but I wouldn't call the difference significant. And with 93, my mileage goes down about 10-15%.
Last week in Texas, I got stuck in a section of Rita-ville without 87 and had to buy 93; the trip home, with a tail wind, mileage fell 10% over the trip down with a head wind.
