My 1996 900S died while driving it home tonight. It has 140,000 miles on it and her name is PENNY. i drive this car regurarly, as can be attested by the mileage.
i love the car
BUT, she died today, it sat in a drive way for about 4 hours, started it no problem. then about 5 minutes into the drive home it just DIED, the RPMS hit zero, the engine just quit. All the electric worked, new battery (8 months old) new ingition(6 months old). the car runs perfectly. regular Heule changes. this sux.
when i tried to restart it, it would turn over and ... it just wont start, everything sounds normal, i cant point anything out of the normal, it just wont start. full tank of gas, i wish i could spray some carberator fluid in the carb to get Penny purring again.
any advice is appreciated, we really cant afford a new car payment...
