My first guess goes toward the crank shaft position sensor and the second guess to the fuel pump.
If you know your way around a little you could flip up the rear seat and remove the round cover over fuel tank.
Listen for the buzz of fuel pump when cranking over the engine.
If no buzz, check for voltage at the green/black wire while cranking over. If no voltage, I suspect the crank sensor. If voltage, I suspect the fuel pump.
Sometimes you can "kick start" a fuel pump by giving the bottom of fuel tank and couple of whacks with your fist or a rubber mallet while cranking over.
