You don't have to move the engine, but you will have to drop a portion of the subframe. It's not an easy job, but if you have the right facilities (airtools and lift maybe?) it can be much easier. (Never done it myself, but I'd like to so I can clean it out myself. There's a few good posts on how to do it in detail which you could find if you searched.)
