buzzing eminatiing from passenger front interior Posted by Ryan [Email] (#2222) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ryan) on Thu, 1 Dec 2005 22:10:06 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've read so many posts regarding buzzing noises. Many suggest the BPV. Although I hear a constant buzzing from the black valve near the radiator on the passenger side in the enging compartment, I don't think it's the source of the noise inside the car. The noise inside the car isn't constant and stops when the car is parked or in neutral even when revved (not under load?) It's a faint buzzing that occurs on accelleration and even at steady speed in gear, but INSTANTLY stops the second the brake pedal is hit. This leads me to believe it is related to vaccum. It's not the ACC fan, but it very annoying. THere's a tiny "valve" which could be the source since it's near the firewall on the passenger side - it's connected to vacuum and EVAP valve. Could this make a noise like that under load, and stop when the brake is hit?
