Speedometer accuracy is good if you maintain the correct outside tread diameter. You can use 16" or even 17" with the right tires.
For the long run, ($$$ allowing) you could put snow tires on your 15" rims, then get 16" rims & new tires for spring/summer/fall. That would be a nice setup.
You can use 16" snows, but that seems kinda silly when your summer tires are 15". Unless you plan to get 15" snows & 16" summers after the current tires wear out.
All classic 900, & 9000 cars have 4-bolt wheels so you can't use them.
You can use the 5-bolt wheels from '94+ 900 cars, '99-'02 9³ cars, '03 convertible, or any(?) 9.5 car. Since you don't have the big brakes of the Viggen/Aero, you don't have to avoid 15" wheels.
The 5-bolt wheels from an '03+ 9³SS will bolt up, but the offset is wrong. Still, they might work, I don't really remember which way that one goes.
