This is one of the easiest car's to do work on IMO.
Check out that '99 9-3. If its an SE model and a 5spd tranny, and the 8th digit of the VIN# is a "P", it's the HOT model(200hp). Grab that one!
Also easily modifiable for reasonable money for increased power if you're interested in that.
I've got the same one. It's been a great car.
The 9-3 Hatchback is one of the last Saab models to be the Anti-SUV. You can put a lot of stuff in that hatch.
Now the Sharp handler area needs some work, but can be done for reasonable money.
