Newly installed amp, wont turn on :(.

After 7 hours of routing cables through the firewall and under the runningboards and such, come time to turn the key, and my new amp does nothing <sadness>. The only cable left unhooked is the (REM) remote turn on/off cable... i have a 95 900s convertible, with a panasonic head unit. My question is... which cable out of the back of the head unit is this wire supposed to be connected to...?
Thanks for any and all help.
Vince
