It gets a little confusing to try to figure out wear when you
switch out winters (15" KW 11s) and summers (16" 712s).

I think you'd need to be an expert driver to differentiate
performance characteristics of each. My records show we
needed to replace the Pilots at 127km (79K miles) but that
number doesn't account for dedicated winters (Alpins), which
we replaced due to two (2) tread separations, the last at
106K km (66K miles). Of course, we drive less in winter than
in summer.

The 712s came with 10/32nds April '03. They're down to about 5/32nds.
I do note we must have run out of alignment for a time as we have
uneven wear on at least one of the fronts but not enough to be
overly concerned. Rotations are made, mostly with the seasons.

The Kumho winters came (Nov '03) with 13/3nds and I'm sure we're
getting another season out of them. They've been fine.
