Hi Guys,

I have a problem with my SAI system. During star up i hear a hissing sound exactly like compessed air expanding. check engine is on, sai related. I searched the board and people reported failure of the secondary air valve which is under the battery. However, during that hissing sound I cannot feel any air comming from that valve. The sound is comming from he right fender area where the pump is.
- So either the valve is not opening and that is why the air bypasses somewhere at the pump or
- a hose is leaky at the pump itself.
Before replacing the valve I wanted to check the pump and the hose connections.
My question: How do I get to the pump? Removing the inner panel from the front wheel?
