Good Morning,
I feel as if I should explain myself. The vehicle is in tremendous condition for the year. Rust is practically non-existent and the vehicle appears to have been maintained and I have all the service records for the vehicle. I was searching for an inexpensive vehicle when I was captivated by the Saab 900 S. I purchased the 1994 Saab 900 S V6 with 295,000KM(Body)/195,000(Engine)for 1700.00 CDN. It appears to be functioning exceptionally and I am simply trying to limit costs in the short term because of other expenses. I realize that Saab vehicles are relatively expensive to maintain however I will be able to perform most(if not all) of the maintenance with the assistance of a close friend. It is simply a matter of trying to reduce parts cost.
Upon closer inspection of my vehicle, I determined that the pads/rotors will have to be replaced and that I can salvage the calipers. The backing for the pad is presently contacting the rotor so the caliper is undamaged. I am purchasing the parts this evening and I will be on the road tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Rowan Ashe
