I have had to call Saab Corporate twice in the last 2 years because my local dealer sugessted it. Although they were very polite and opened a case#, in the end it amounted to nothing. If you are out of warranty, they don't care.
By the way I did as Ander suggested to your earlier posting and RE-TORQUED the headbolts myself. It stopped the slight leak I had and cost me nothing. Well I did have to buy a special socket for all of $4.
I am sure you can find and Independant mechanic to do the re-torque procedure for you for $50-100. Don't give the dealer any reason to waste $1600 of your money. Its probably not necessary. Hundreds if not thousands of us had gone through this re-torque procedure and I bet the majority of the time it sovled the issue.
