Just bought an extended warranty. My 2002 Viggen convert had 47000 miles on it and one month left of mftrs. warranty.
After looking around I thought I found a deal and jumped at it. Zero deductible would have cost about $650 more and I took the risk of not having the car on warranty work on all service calls ($600 means six trips for covered warranty repairs).
Its odd that there were no responses to Skyrockets earlier inquiries about the prices of policies.
I think the Saabnet should create some forum for insurance competition, especially on such a volatile and costly subject. Skyrocket
