My mileage on the highway at 75mph or thereabouts isn't as good as I do at 50mph, but the gap is only about 1mpg, which I attribute to higher wind resistance. Of course I still struggle to grasp this - my car still moves thru the same air.
But for a clue, notice boost gauge - at highway speeds you probably see
a little boost, slower you may see none. Octane may play a role in effeciency on boost.
Air pressure would lower mpg, but across the board I would think.
You're in a NG??
