Could be "groove wander" if your tires are fairly worn. Sometimes changing inflation can help diagnose that.
all joints come to mind - a little play can give a lot of road problems. Ball joints are hard to check since a tiny amount of play can cause problems. It's not like the old days when bad ball joints were visibly loose. Nick at GS has advised me that removing the ball joint nut and manually moving the joint can be a good test - there should be some resistance left in teh joint. If it's loose, that's too loose.
Bushings seem to result in vibration under load, not wander, from most of the information I've been able to glean. Tie rods will cause wander but you can usually figure that out by pulling on the wheel and watching the tie rod end. If there is play in the wheel that is cause by the tie rod end you can usually see it. In fact, play in the wheel and front end components is the first thing to check.
Why are you replacing the MP brace ? Is it damaged? If not, I might be interested in purchasing it.
