I own a modded viggen with probably around th same hp as yours. I've also spent some time behind the wheel of an E36 M3 (1995) and 993 911 porsche (1995). The viggen is a lot of fun to drive, queezing off bursts of boost is highly addicting. The car is challenging to drive fast, but that makes it engaging. The M3 and the 911 both have what I'd call pedigree, you get a sense that racing is in their DNA. The M3 has a burly solid feel, the steering is heavy and planted, the motor is torquey and make a great noises. From what I understand, newer M3s feel heavier but are way faster. The 911 is totally different, the motor has to be revved pretty good to get into the power, it doesn't feel fast, but it is. The steering is light and the wheel kicks around in your hands when you hit bumps. The 993 I've driven is the last of the air-cooled 911s, so the wumping and whirring engine sounds and feels awesome. The old chassis' ergonomics are weird but cool. The saab is a pretty straight forward car, but repairs have proven to be pretty expensive. Porsche repairs are still in a different league, I don't think you can visit the shop without spending at least $1500, the dealer wants $300 for an oil change!
Still, I think the 911 is the coolest of the bunch, I prefer the air-cooled models, especially 85-89 and 95-97.
