Did EBC change the composition yet again? When I had them on a 95SET with sticky performance tires, those pads worked -*very well*- in emergency situations. The factory rotors were not enlarged until 1997. (EBC pads were a problem for some because of uneven transfer of organic material to the rotors that makes them feel warped. So if they were changed, perhaps to deal with that. That problem can be resolved by burning the deposits off, but I believe that if the problem is ignored, that the created uneven heating could then create a true warping problem.)
