When I was stationed at an FPO address, I had a similar experience.

TW at Thesaabsite.com was very helpful, and went out of his way to ship many parts to me at my FPO address during my 2 years overseas. He is very willing to help out those serving our country overseas.

I tried buying Saab parts at the local Italian Saab dealer, but the prices were WAY too high, and the dollar was (and still is) weak, so most parts were 2x more on the local economy vs. ordering online from the USA, even with shipping.
