When I replaced the radiator and hoses on my wife's '94 900SE (V6), I had the same leak. I was hesitant to crank the radiator clamp "supertight" because of the plastic ports. Coolant was leaking between the hose and the radiator and dripping out the bottom. It was difficult to see where it was coming from and I suspected a bad tank-crimp.
The remedy? I rotated the clamp to make it more easily accessible, slid it closer to the flared-end of the port and tightened it a bit further. Leak-free since.
Give this a try before replacing the pump.
Also, on my 900S (2.3, my car), the water-pump o-rings were leaking. This leak showed itself as coolant dripping off of the oil-filter. If the radiator hose isn't leaking, look in this area next.
