Wierd Discharging problem?

My 03 9-3 vert recently started behaving badly. I am suspicious it is a charging problem. If I leave the car (with daytime running lights) on with radio going (listening to the sox game), after 5 minutes there is a loss of amperage such that it won't turn the starter. I get the standard clicks like it was low on charge. If I let it sit for a minute or two, turn of the lights it will get just enough charge to start.
Had Saab mechanic look at it and they noticed the battery was weak and applied a charge to get it up to spec. Sears also looked at it and gave it a thumbs up.
Now the problem has returned. Left it on while I went in the packie to pick up some wine while I my son listenmed to the game. When I came out it was dead. Three minutes was all it took. Left it sit for two minutes and had enough additional juice to start.
Any thoughts? Is it a dead battery? Saab dealer says no, Sears says no. Loose starter cable?
